Description

The General Management Learnership is a structured work-based learning programme designed to equip unemployed youth with practical management skills and theoretical knowledge aligned to the National Qualifications Framework (NQF). This learnership combines classroom-based learning with practical workplace experience to develop competence in planning, organising, leading, and controlling business operations within various industries.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily business operations and administrative functions
• Support planning, organising, leading, and controlling activities within a department
• Monitor workflow processes to ensure efficiency
• Support basic budgeting and cost control activities
• Assist in managing stock, assets, and other company resources
• Contribute to procurement and supplier coordination processes
• Participate in team meetings and performance discussions

Qualifications

• Grade 12 / Matric certificate South African citizen
• Unemployed and between ages 18–35 (as per most SETA requirements)
• Basic computer literacy
• Good communication skills (English; additional South African languages advantageous
